Riverlea International

One day with midnight prayers
And candle sticks we will march forward
With our chests pumped high
We will not sigh but sing different songs
With our eyes,
Take my hand
I would like to be…
With you.

In my being in yours when you cry
My frail heart lies with your wail
Crinkled in the veins and weathered
Butternut,
I’ll join you,
In your sorrow
I would like to be…
With you.

One day when you look back
At the crossroads we crossed
The ravines, rivers and rivulets,
We swam across
We will realise that
Our boat,
Was always there,
Waiting.
Let me remind you
I would like to be…
With you

My sand dunes in Danube smiling

I sit twiddling my thumbs with my hope perhaps dwindling
I sit with my mind winding around the whining I’ve had whirling in my inner ears
For years have gone and so tempting it is to say that the tears followed suit
It is so tempting to say I have never found anyone like you
Pens, papers, keyboards, and… and whatever else I am thinking of defy me my love
Every possible hole in my time is filled by thoughts of you
That sounds awkward, wayward and deceptive but like a captive clichéd award
I want to share all of me all at once and all in parts with you
Let us not be apart, that is where the words in my heart choose to depart
With the art that beautifies the pretty purity in your eyes every time you blush.
